The Hazardous Waste Report Instructions and Forms includes a list of Management Method Codes to describe the type of hazardous waste management system used to treat, recover, or dispose of a hazardous waste.

These codes are updated routinely and published in the instructions of the current edition of the booklet. Arkansas's hazardous waste management rules include the federal Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) rules and more stringent state requirements. The state's additional rules apply to hazardous waste generators, transporters, owners, and operators of TSDFs, handlers of universal waste, and used oil handlers.

Federal regulations require generators and transporters of hazardous waste and owners or operators of receiving facilities designated on the manifest to complete this form (EPA Form –22) and, if necessary, the continuation sheet (EPA Form –22A) for both inter- and intrastate transportation of hazardous waste.

The Administrative Procedures Act, Arkansas Code Annotated ACA et. seq., requires state agencies, boards and commissions to file with the Secretary of State a copy of each rule adopted by the filing group. ACA requires the Secretary of State to publish all agency rule notices, emergency rules, adopted rules, and proposed rules on the Secretary of State website.
